URS Information Systems (URS) is Awarded Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (MHEC) Bid for 2003-2004

URS has been awarded the bid for the MHEC bid for Computers, Peripherals & Enhancements for the 2003-04 academic year. URS will design and deploy best-of-breed storage solutions for the member universities.

About MHEC:
The Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (MHEC) is one of the leading group purchasing organizations in the country. Established in 1976, as an off-shoot of the Five College Purchasing Group (Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst), it now provides contract management for 83 public and private colleges and universities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The MHEC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization operating solely for the benefit of higher education in the Commonwealth. Contract sales volumes for FY01 totaled more than $153,000,000.
